Implanting the cheekbone gives the face a new sense of balance that often creates a more proportional and youthful as well as vibrant appearance. Cheek implant surgery is generally performed on an outpatient basis. Operation usually takes 1-2 hours to complete. Generally patient can be discharge from the hospital on same day, however if the cheek implant surgery is performed in combination with other cosmetic procedures then an overnight stay is required for the comfort of patient. Stitches are usually dissolved approximately after 10-12 days. Patients can resume normal regular activities within a few days.
