Terms & Conditions

Mandates and Obligations of Med Care India

• Med Care India shall receive the query regarding disease suffered by the patient desirous of receiving treatment in India and forward the same to the Specialist Doctor at our one of the best hospitals for his comments / suggestion coupled with his certificate of authenticity and revert back the same to the patient within 72 hours of the receipt of the said query.

• The Med Care India shall assimilate from the patient his / her complete medical history / reports / health records coupled with the authentication by the Patient's Doctor preparing the said medical history / report, at least 8 working days prior to the date of arrival of the patient in India, and shall revert to the patient explaining him / her the type of treatment that shall be extended by the said Hospital(s) along with the terms and tariff normally charged by the said Hospital(s) from time to time.

• Before transferring the patient to said Hospital(s), Med Care India shall get the commitment letter duly signed by the patient favoring Med Care India / Concern Hospital(s), confirming that in the event of cross referral or additional diagnostic or treatment facility availed by the patient, the patient will pay the said Hospital(s) the expenses thereof before leaving the said Hospital in India.

• In case the treatment extended to the patient is likely to go beyond the set period of his stay in India, whereby making it essential to get the extension of visa by the patient, in that happening all the initial formalities i.e. filing of application as well as other relevant tasks ancillary to that shall be solely done by and shall be the accountability of patient. However, Med Care India will assist the patient or his / her colleagues in following the procedures and contacting the concerned Authorities, the costs of which shall be borne by the patient. For this support, patient will pay Med Care India to the amount of service charge on account of assistance and other related service rendered.

• Med Care India shall arrange for the desired quality hotel accommodations, conveyance and other facilities for the patient and his / her accompaniments subject to payment made by the patient or his / her accompaniments against the invoices so raised by Med Care India for such services rendered from time to time.

• In the cases where patient having medical insurance plans to receive treatment in India during his / her visit, Med Care India shall assist the patient in locating the availability of tie-up of particular hospital with such insurance company.

• Made Care India makes no warranties or representations as to its accuracy or completeness. The information accessible from Made Care India web site and other communication contains forward-looking statements that involve risks and uncertainties, including statements with respect to the potential benefits of a healthcare plan or medical procedure, and successful treatment of a medical condition of the patient. Actual results may differ considerably.

Declaration of Liability

• Med Care India or the associated Hospital(s) shall not be liable for any complication that may arise during treatment resulting in death, permanent/temporary disablement of the patient for which proper care was taken by the said Hospital(s) Doctors in the normal course.

• Med Care India shall not be bound by any act or omission, which is done beyond the scope of this Agreement by the Patient or his / her accompaniment.

Commercials

• Patient shall make a payment that will be 50% of the package's total cost for securing the booking. This amount is refundable after deducting processing charges if the patient decides not to undergo with the procedure.

• After the initial booking made by patient, our Health Care Center will confirm you by e-mail the consultation and treatment dates. The patient will have to make the rest payment of 50% on arrival in India, before the procedure begins.

• Made Care India shall be entitled to receive from the patient charges related towards the tour management and other facilities relating to hotel accommodation, transfer arrangements, and conveyance, ticketing and any other related facilities / services.

• After the treatment, a final bill will be presented prior to discharge. It is the participant's liability to settle any interim and final bill(s) in full prior to discharge. Made Care India will not be responsible for any payments or fees to the hospital or physicians.

• Indicative prices on website are subject to change or withdrawal without notice.

Cancellation Policy

• If for any reason the patient decides to cancel the trip after having paid the deposit or the total package's cost, Med Care India reimburses the total package's cost after deducting the administrative or processing cost.

• The patient may transfer the cost of payment to another patient where the administrative or processing cost will be charged. The new patient will be given a new quotation.

• In case of postpone the trip (but not the cancellation), the amount paid by patient can be use as a credit. This credit will be reserve for rescheduled trip only for 6 months from the date in which the trip was postponed. Med Care India will stick to the original price for 3 months after the date in which the trip was postponed, but once that period elapses, the package's price could be modified. The patient may ask for a rescheduling of the consultation dates only twice.

Legal & Jurisdiction

• Any disputes arising out of this term and conditions will be subject to jurisdiction of courts in New Delhi, India only.
